It’s that time again – the 6th Annual Nature and Wildlife Exhibition sponsored by the St. Augustine Art Association. This year’s exhibition will last from July 25 to August 30, including the Patron’s Party on Saturday, July 25. Come see the beauty and wonder of the natural world in a breathtaking gallery exhibition! Premium artists from around the region will be in attendance, ready to display original artwork for the benefit of art education and conservation. The exhibit will include art featuring plant life, landscapes and ocean life.
Artists are competing for $5000 in cash awards! The Best in Show Bradley/Mayer Award winner will receive a $2000 prize, with first, second and third place winners receiving $1000, $700 and $500, respectively. Interested artists can apply online or via mail. Each display will be reviewed by a judge before acceptance.
The 6th Annual Nature and Wildlife Exhibition is easy to find – just head to the St. Augustine Art Association at 22 Marine Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084. Last year’s first place artist was Sergei Orgunov and the winning piece was “Wild Youth.” Second place went to Andrea Broghan, with “Rhino.”
The St. Augustine Art Association has been working diligently to promote the arts since 1924. Each month, the association offers juried exhibits of both emerging and professional artists. The gallery houses a “Lost Colony” art collection and regularly offers workshops and lectures on all aspects of art and the artistic process.
